2. Subscription Cancellations
2.1 How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Simply navigate to "My Subscriptions" and click "Cancel Subscription."
2.2 Cancellation Terms
- Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period
- You will receive all boxes you have already paid for
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
- Prepaid plans (3, 6, or 12 months) are non-refundable after the first box ships
3. Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a refund if:
- Damaged Items: Products arrive damaged or broken
- Incorrect Items: You received the wrong box type or variant
- Missing Items: Your box was missing items from the expected contents
- Quality Issues: Items are defective or not as described
- Non-Delivery: Your box never arrived (after investigation)
4. How to Request a Refund
- Contact Us Within 14 Days: Reach out within 14 days of receiving your box
- Provide Details: Include your order number, photos of any damage, and a description of the issue
- Email Us: Send your request to support@theirishbox.ie
- Wait for Review: We'll review your request within 2-3 business days
5. Refund Options
Depending on the situation, we may offer:
- Full Refund: Original payment method (for major issues)
- Partial Refund: For individual item issues
- Replacement: Send replacement items or a new box
- Store Credit: Credit applied to your account for future boxes
6. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method
- Bank processing may take an additional 3-10 business days
- You will receive an email confirmation when your refund is processed
7. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not available for:
- Change of mind after box dispatch
- Personal taste or preference differences
- Failure to pick up from collection point
- Incorrect address provided by customer
- Prepaid subscriptions after the first box ships
- Gift subscriptions after activation
8. Dog Box Specific Policy
For the Dog Box, please note:
- We cannot accept returns of opened dog treats or toys for hygiene reasons
- If your dog has allergies or dietary requirements, please contact us before ordering
- Replacements available if items are unsuitable for your dog's size/needs
9. Book Box Specific Policy
For the Book Box, please note:
- Due to the surprise nature, specific title requests cannot be guaranteed
- Duplicate titles can be exchanged if you notify us promptly
- Books with printing defects will be replaced
