Orders & Shipping
When will my box ship?
Boxes ship mid-month, typically between the 10th-15th. Your first box ships within 3-5 business days of subscribing. After that, you'll receive your box around the same time each month.
Is delivery free?
Yes! Delivery is completely free within Dublin and surrounding areas. For nationwide delivery outside Dublin, a small shipping fee may apply. We're working on expanding our free delivery zones.
How do I track my order?
Once your box ships, you'll receive an email with your tracking number. You can also view tracking information in your account dashboard under "Order History".
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we only ship within Ireland. We're planning to expand to the UK and other countries soon. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when we launch international shipping!
What if my box is damaged or lost?
We're sorry to hear that! Please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date with your order number, and we'll send a replacement or issue a refund.
Subscription & Billing
How does the subscription work?
When you subscribe, you choose a box type (Dog, Book, or Snack) and a plan length (monthly, 3, 6, or 12 months). You'll be billed at the start of your subscription period, and your box will ship mid-month, every month.
Can I pause my subscription?
Yes! You can pause your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Simply set a resume date, and we'll skip shipping until then. There are no fees for pausing.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Absolutely. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. If you're on a prepaid plan (3, 6, or 12 months), you'll continue receiving boxes until your prepaid period ends. Monthly subscribers can cancel before their next billing date.
When am I charged?
For monthly subscriptions, you're charged on the same date each month. For prepaid plans, you're charged upfront for the entire period. We'll always send you a reminder email before charging.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through our secure Stripe payment system. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also available.
Can I change my box type?
Yes! You can switch between Dog, Book, and Snack boxes from your dashboard. Changes take effect from your next billing cycle.

What's included in each box?
Each box contains carefully curated Irish products:
⢠Dog Box: 5-6 items including treats, toys, chews, and accessories
⢠Book Box: 5 items including a paperback, bookmark, tea/coffee, chocolate, and a surprise
⢠Snack Box: 8-12 iconic Irish snacks and treats
Can I choose what's in my box?
While you can select your box type and variant (like dog size or book genre), the specific items are a surprise! That's part of the magic of subscription boxes. We do take allergies and preferences into account where possible.
Are the products suitable for allergies?
We try to accommodate common allergies where possible. For the Dog Box, please note any allergies when signing up. For Snack Boxes, items may contain nuts, dairy, gluten, and other allergens. Please check product labels carefully.
Are the products really Irish?
Yes! We're committed to supporting Irish businesses. All our products are either made in Ireland or produced by Irish-owned companies. We work with over 50 local partners across the country.
What dog sizes do you cater for?
We offer two Dog Box variants: Small Dog (under 10kg) and Large Dog (over 10kg). Toys and treat sizes are selected accordingly to suit your pup.
Gifts & Referrals
Can I buy a box as a gift?
Yes! We offer gift options for all our boxes. You can purchase a one-time gift box or a gift subscription. Include a personal message and choose the delivery date. The recipient will receive a notification about their gift.
How does the referral program work?
When you subscribe, you'll receive a unique referral code. Share it with friends, and when they subscribe using your code, you'll both receive ā¬5 credit towards your next box!
How do I use a discount code?
Enter your discount code at checkout in the "Discount Code" field. The discount will be applied to your order total. Only one discount code can be used per order.
Do gift subscriptions auto-renew?
No, gift subscriptions are prepaid for the selected period and do not auto-renew. The recipient can choose to continue the subscription themselves after the gift period ends.
Account & Support
How do I update my delivery address?
Log into your account, go to "Settings" or "Addresses", and update your delivery details. Changes will apply to your next shipment. Make sure to update before the 5th of the month to ensure your next box goes to the new address.
How do I reset my password?
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and enter your email. We'll send you a secure link to reset your password. The link expires after 24 hours.
How do I contact customer support?
You can reach us at hello@theirishbox.ie or through our contact form. We aim to respond within 24 hours on business days. For urgent issues, mention "URGENT" in your subject line.
Can I update my payment method?
Yes, you can update your payment method from your account dashboard under "Billing" or through our secure Stripe customer portal link.
Returns & Refunds
What's your refund policy?
Due to the nature of subscription boxes, we don't offer refunds for boxes already shipped. However, if your box is damaged, lost, or you're unsatisfied, please contact us and we'll make it right.
Can I return items?
We don't accept returns on subscription box items as they're curated specially for each month. If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us for a replacement or credit.
What if I'm not happy with my box?
We want you to love your box! If you're not satisfied, please let us know. We value feedback and will work with you to resolve any issues. You can always pause or cancel your subscription if it's not right for you.
